- The Stinger Sub 12A G2 active subwoofer is universal: it can be used with LD Systems speakers as well as other brands.Its compact, bass-reflex cabinet is made of solid plywood. It incorporates a Class AB amplifier rated at 1000 Watts peak, feeding a 12" (30 cm) diameter woofer equipped with a 3" (76.5 mm) voice coil. it delivers fast, dynamic bass reproduction down to 38 Hz, and generates high sound pressure levels of up to 120 dB SPL (128 dB SPL peak).For optimum adaptation to all sound systems, the Stinger Sub 12A G2 is equipped with a volume control, a potentiometer for setting the low-pass filter cutoff frequency (adjustable from 80 to 200 Hz), and a polarity inverter. It has an input on a combo connector (mixed XLR/jack) and a direct output on XLR, for parallel feeding of another active subwoofer. Naturally, it incorporates numerous protection circuits, ensuring maximum longevity.Other highlights include an M20 base plate and innovative LD "Evolutive Handless" handles. Ergonomically designed carrying handles ensure optimum grip from all sides, in complete safety, and ease of transport. A wheeled cart and protective cover are available as options.
